2008-08-12 [Love and Chaos]: if you have too many pages that split, it will be more complex, and harder to maintain. Thats why if you decide to do so, you should make sure you limit the amount of pages that you split it into.

I can see it being a little confusing and hard to maintain, but I'm going to see how well I can handle it, and when i get someone else to manage it with me I hope it won't be too hard. If it does, I'll have to find a way to condense it.

2008-08-12 [Love and Chaos]: Best to start slow, that way you can gradually increase the work load as you get used to it. You wont overload yourself or the other person that way.

For now I'm going to try not to expand anything, and have only one or two competitions going on since not a lot of maintenance on my part is needed, I'd just have to check the entries when they're added. One of the main ones, The Believers Coffee House I've left to [NOOOPE] to maintain, but I'll be keeping up with it to an extent. And the other links aren't very active as of right now, but I should expect that I just need to keep an eye on it. Though you're right, I am making this wiki expand a little fast and I should wait a little longer before making more parts to it.

I do admit that I'm endlessly annoyed by people here who use this community as a datingsite, spam others and most of the time, are rude too. But I think it's impossible to "purge" any place on the web from these kind of people, and I agree with Ramirez that that should not be the goal.

Inspire people is always an admirable goal, and I hope that will be what we can do :)

And the people who keep saying that this wiki will die soon, LOL.
One, you can't predict that, two, as long as there are people who make these kind of wiki's the idea lives. And if it dies, so be it, it'll be a shame as it is with any other wiki, but someone will make a new one, and it all starts over.
I hope we can reach something, if only to inspire others and make them see that this is a community for artists, writers and others of the like that love sf and fantasy, what it was meant for by it's birth.

Now all be nice and have a cupcake, or I ask [Trennas] to sing "I am the Walrus" in his opera voice.

People here on this wiki will probably give it a shot and look at it if you ask them to.
